The work of the media under conditions of martial law: requirements and recommendations

The Security Service of Ukraine in Lviv region has published requirements and recommendations for media workers on how to work under conditions of martial law.
There are prohibited any photo and video shooting of:
- block posts
- airports
- railway stations
- oil depots
- oil and gas pipelines
- power plants
- Ukrainian militaries
- Ukrainian military equipment
Some recommendations for journalists:
- Always have a folder with identity documents, including a press card.
- Have a cash with you.
- Do not wear clothes of dark-green color or something that looks like a soldier’s clothes.
- Do not take such things as binocular or equipment with antenna.
- Be careful with items, which resembles weapon. Do not keep military documents, clothes or equipment as souvenirs.
- Behave modestly.
- Carry a shortwave radio to keep up to date. You may also find yourself in a situation when any mean of communication would be unavailable so you need to carry a satellite phone with services of email and Internet.
- Have a white flag with you.
- Take a minimum of equipment with you.
- Always carry a first aid kit with you.
